Emma OMalley

Hi! I’m Emma O’Malley, a Physician Associate born and raised in the Sacramento area. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. During college and after graduation, I worked as a group fitness and spin instructor while also gaining clinical experience as an emergency department scribe. My passion for women’s health began while working in Austin, Texas, and I quickly fell in love with caring for women through every stage of life. I enjoy helping patients navigate reproductive health, contraception and safe sex practices, pregnancy, menopause, and everything in between. I went on to earn my Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Samuel Merritt University and have had the opportunity to work in emergency medicine, aesthetic medicine, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and now back in OB-GYN, where I truly feel at home.

I believe in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me staying active through weightlifting, running, hiking, or paddleboarding. I also love exploring all that California has to offer and enjoy traveling internationally whenever I have the opportunity!
